Obituary of Linda Albert
Albert, Linda L. M.
Peacefully, surrounded by family, at her home on May 20, 2023, at 62 years of age. Linda loved, was loved by, and will be deeply missed by her spouse Jennifer Kustermans-Albert of 21 years. Loving and proud Mom to Kail, who brought her so much joy. She will also be missed by her fur baby Maggie, whose constant companionship provided comfort and laughter to us all.
Predeceased by parents Yolande Albert (2012), Emile Albert (2012) and Claudette Young (2012).
Loved daughter-in-law of Jack and Joanna Kustermans, Strathroy. Loved sister-in-law of Jennine and Ian McKenzie, St. Antoine, NB; Jeanette and Aaron Brown, Thedford; and Jeff and Tara Kustermans, Parkhill; and Denis Albert and Mary Hogg, Cambridge. Sister of Donald Albert and Diane Albert.
Her funny antics and ability to make them laugh will be missed by her nieces and nephews Ike, Clark and Viktor McKenzie; Hunter, James Chelsea-Elizabeth and Hannah Brown; Alexis and Colton Kustermans; Danny Hogg and family.
Formerly of Sarnia, Linda worked at Ups and Downs for many years where she made lifelong friends Nicole, Doris, Lise, Patricia, Julie, Giselle (2019). She had many fond memories and great stories from her days there, and continued to make the girls laugh as often as she could. Linda also worked at the Beer Store for 20 years before leaving to stay at home with Kail. Most recently, Linda worked at Seasons Retirement Home where she enjoyed making residents and fellow co-workers laugh.
Linda will be missed by friend Monica, with whom she regularly got together with for coffee dates, chats, a surprise project, or a trip to Canadian Tire. She will also be missed by friend Allan, who was always ready to lend a hand, or just sit and visit.
Linda loved nothing more than making people laugh- if you laughed, she was always happy. She felt life was to be lived, and to take enjoyment in simple things such as birds chirping, a great firepit, or a squirrel running along the fence. She spent time in her garage listening to the radio, puttering, and woodworking. Her touch and the care she took is everywhere with projects she created. Her kindness to others, and welcoming way, made many people feel special.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26th, 2023, from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at 1:00p.m. at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at Strathroy Cemetery.
