There are no words that can be said when we lose a loved one that can take away our sorrow. Went to school with Brian for many years, he was always a nice guy, soft spoken and kind. I remember at Southdale school and the Minstrel show, Brian was a good singer and he did a great job of acting. I think especially of Ivan at this time, got to know him at the youth centre. My condolences to the whole family. Praying for you all.

Kim, you and Brian have been amazing helping others despite dealing with your own challenges.I got to know Brian much better over the past couple of years and I have just been really impressed with his love of family and the tirelessness of both of you in helping the people in your life.

Want to express my sincere condolences to Kim, the kids and the whole extended families in this difficult time. You’re all in our hearts. I only meet Brian a couple times but being Ivan’s friend I knew and heard all about him and the kind of guy he was! It’s no conciliation but he now is pain free and resting until he is resurrected once again. Love to you all and sympathies.

To Kim and Family
My deepest condolences to your family, on the sudden and very unexpected passing of Brian; it has been a rough month of up and downs with everything that Brain and you have to work through/ deal with....up and downs.
As soon as I found out about Brain’s situation I jumped into support mode and jumping covering your break shift and anything else I could possibly do to help you out, that way you could be where you needed to be...right beside Brain’s bed at the hospital. Then listening to your updates and optimistic outlook whenever you came into the store (to see your work family) and receive everyone support the moment you walked through the door.
But nothing prepared me for the unexpected news that I received from Jane when I went to say good bye to her and she asked me to put her name on the card for Kim and Brain, I was totally confused about what she told me “Brian passed away last night”
her words were like a ton of bricks breaking down...the wall; I was in total disbelieve because I had just seen him with you.....when you were doing Jim’s and your weekly grocery shopping, he was enjoying riding around the store on one of our three electric carts asking me if I had seen diet 7 up (710mL) bottles...which I have never seen in our store. He was typical Brain with his big smile and famous chuckle / laugh that you can hear anywhere in the store. He was asking me if I was staying out of trouble and not working too hard? I laughed and said a course I am...what about you Brain? Which he answered with “ a course I’m staying out of trouble sweetie;” all the while he continued teasing different people as they walked by the mobile shop like he does every time he came into the store no matter how his legs were feeling that day; Brian had this ability to make everyone and anyone laugh and smile.
I'm going miss his sense of humor and his unforgettable laugh it was contagious, he always would say something that would make me giggle or smile whenever he was walking by my till at the store and lift my spirits for the rest of my shift each and every time no matter what was going on at the time.
Kim and family I’m sure your hearts are aching. I just want you to know that we are here for you if your need anything after everything calms down and goes back to the new normal don't be scared, to ask because I'm always willing to lend a helping hand to my friends.
Lots of Hugs Kim
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
