Obituary of Rosa Pereira

Rosa de Jesus Pereira passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, August 30, 2008 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Francisco (Frank) Pereira (2004). Loving mother of Tomas and his wife Debbie. Dear mother-in-law of Lucio Fernandes and his wife Cidalia. Predeceased by her children Manuel Francisco (1949) and Maria Filomena (1997). Sadly missed by grandchildren Nancy Fernandes-Giles (Rob), Cindy Fernandes-Pinto (Nelson), Wendy Curvelo (John), and John, Jason and Justin Pereira. Dearly loved by great-grandchildren Mya Fernandes-Giles and Joshlyn and Sofia Fernandes-Pinto and Abigail and Ava Curvelo. Predeceased by her brother Manuel Milhomens and sister Lurdes Alves. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada, United States and Portugal. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, on Sunday, August 31 from 5-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, September 1 at 10 am with Fr. Brian Klooster officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Sunday at 4:30 PM. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
