Our deepest condolences to the Geerts Families. John was a pleasure to be around and always so kind. He frequently visited our parents for morning coffee, would take our Dad on day trips and drop off food. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

We’ll miss Uncle John’s phone calls and the time he spent with our family out in BC. His curiosity was amazing, even in his later years he wanted to know and learn as much as he could about how things worked, history of the area and what not. He was a pleasure to be around. Natalie and family, sending condolences, thoughts and love to you all. We never got the pleasure of meeting Opa however Jordan spoke very highly of him. She enjoyed her car rides after school, listening to his stories, eating lunch together and being called girl!
Opa will be missed by many but his stories will live on forever

to Bill, Carol, Heidi, Natalie, Ian and Geerts Families.
It was with much sadness when we learned of John's passing. our neighbour for 50 years. always a friendly wave when ever he drove by in his car or on his blue ford tractor. We will miss him, he liked his beef steak tomatoes and we always joked with him about his favorite fruit, bananas. Our heart felt condolences to you all. Cherish the memories.

To All of Johns' Family, Tim & I R Sending Our Deepest Condolences & Prayers on the Passing of A father & Opa, John. He was A Great Man. As some of U know John & His late Wife Corry was Our Neighbours for many yrs. But They also became Our Dear Friends. We R going to Miss John as Our Neighbour & Dear Friend. Miss the Smile or Wave from Him. Or sitting down & having a chat. Over the yrs. We saw How John treated His Wife Corry like A true Lady & We Saw their Love & devotion for Each other Every day. We saw a Hard Working Man in John & He Loved The Farm Life. He would talk about it in Our Chats at times. We R going to Miss John greatly, but We were Lucky to have had Him as Our Neighbour & Greatfull to have been able to call John Our Friend.
Rest In Peace John. Our Thoughts & Prayers & Hugs R with All of U.

My condolences to the whole family. John once lent my husband and myself his car in a emergency run to the hospital. He knew my husband’s parents and just handed over the keys. We were so grateful.
He was so generous.
