I got to work with John as I started my career at London Life, we always had a great time together. He was very helpful and supportive when I was going through some life changes, inviting me over for dinner, and bringing in different fruits/vegetables/meats to send me home with.
I will always remember our lunches at the Portuguese restaurant, and the days we he would pick up fresh bread on the way into work and we would all eat peanut butter/bread together.
Sending love to Liz and John’s children/grandchildren.
He was a great man who will be missed.

I got to know John at London Life as one of the go-to guys for anything I needed for my meetings or my workspace. Eventually our paths crossed and we were both members of the same Corporate Properties team. These photos sum up the great friendships and fun that we enjoyed as coworkers! I'm grateful to have known you and tasted many of your food creations - We will all miss you John!

Make-A-Wish Go Blue Go Bald I remember clearly John told me if he collected $500 in the first campaign we would be very happy. He surpassed that amount and that was his driving force for each and every year after. Go Blue Go Bald played a very big part of his life. It gave him a purpose in helping others in ways he could only imagine. John was honoured to be part of such a great cause… Thank you

Our deepest condolences Liz, to you and the family, we will all miss John. He was a great Santa when our kids were younger. John had really great Portuguese recipes, he made a lovely rice pasta soup, and a special stew with beef tendon. He loved you Liz, he was an amazing cook, it was so nice of you and John to attend and show up at our family reunion in Cuba. Best memories ever. John will be missed at family gatherings, he was part of "we" aka our family.
