Obituary of Judy McQueen

With family by her side, Judith Ann McQueen (Bryant) (nee Carroll) passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, Ontario. Judy is survived by her sons Jeff Bryant, Paul (Leanne) McQueen, and Steve McQueen. Loved grandmother of Oliver, Finley, Jonathan Daniel, Meredith, Conner, and Tori. Judy is also survived by her sisters Janet (Clayton) Morgan and Elizabeth Rogers, brother-in-law Ron Brown, sister-in-law Brenda Carroll, sister-in-law Heather (Wayne) Greig, brother-in-law Roger (Marilyn) McQueen, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by parents Winnifred (Carroll) (Butler), William George Carroll, spouse Raymond Bryant, spouse Glenn McQueen, sister Sharon Brown, brother Tom Carroll, and brother-in-law Jeff Rogers.

Judy loved her working days and worked at Strathmere Lodge and Sunhaven Nursing Home before becoming a long-term contractor at the Union Gas, Lobo Township, Compressor Station. She enjoyed her family immensely, cultivating her love of gardening, visiting with her friends, road trips, a good ice cream cone, and morning coffee while listening to music.  In keeping with Judy’s wishes cremation has taken place.

A visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on February 2, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.                                        

A private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bluewater Health Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
