Gertie and the rest of the Aarts family our deepest condolences on the passing of Tony. Fondest memories of them were when the couples all played cards together playing 31 for Pennie’s and nickels and as kids we would generally snoop around the table to see who had the best cards and of course being accused of revealing cards in sneaky way. The couples also went to St Joes dances monthly at Taxandria in Arkona enjoying polkas and waltzes and after the dances come back and have a meal of bacon and eggs followed by pushing the table to the side and continuing what they did at the dance, more dancing. Who said as kids we didn’t know what was going on. Gertie and family it’s a sad time for your family and hope these memories serve you proudly with a smile and we look back on the good times you had.
