Donna was a long time member of the Windsor-Essex branch of the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario (RWTO). She had achieved a certificate in our Forever Young Club. When she was able, we enjoyed seeing her at our activities. On behalf of our membership, I'd like to extend our sympathy to Donna's family.

To our adventurous, independent and cool Great Aunt Donna, we will deeply miss you; forever remembering your worldly travel stories, cherishing our visits to Windsor to learn more about our family history and eagerly awaiting a pair of hand-knitted mittens at Christmas. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Love always, Lindsay, Kelly and Carolyn

Sending condolences to Donna’s Strathroy Family. I knew Donna while teaching in Windsor and through Bernice, our mutual friend of several decades. Had the pleasure of many drives around and lunches out in Essex County with both of them. Also visited with them on winter getaway in Arizona. Donna always spoke with pride of her roots in the Strathroy area and the love for her nieces and their families. My sympathies to all who are missing her now.
Sincerely,
Mary J Turner

My sincere condolences to Donna’s family and friends! She spoke fondly of her nieces and nephews to me when I visited her. Donna was very involved with Riverside United Church especially the Outreach committee! We also talked of her many years as a teacher. A warm classy lady who will be missed in our Windsor community! May your many fond memories give you comfort as you celebrate a life well lived. God bless everyone. Betty Dadd
