Sincere condolences to Charles and family. Ellen was a great lady with a great sense of humour. She worked hard. She was also into stamp collecting. This is how we first met. She will be missed.
My sincere condolences to Charles and all other family members. I knew Ellen as a dedicated volunteer at Metcalfe Public School for several years. My daughter was always in the same class as Charles, and she often benefitted from Ellen's help. I spent time over the years with Ellen on the Parent Council and witnessed her passion for helping children despite her health issues. She will be missed.

Ellen was a longtime friend with lots of talent, a heart of gold and in her healthy years, full of energy. She helped me with decorating projects, volunteered at Metcalfe School, SMGH, and as a baseball Mom. We shared many moments over a cup of tea, and sometimes chocolate. I shall miss her a lot. Rest in Peace, dear friend.
