Larry Stewart Pierce

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on August 13th, 2022, Larry Stewart Pierce passed away at the age of 75 with his family by his side. Treasured son of the late Faye and Stewart. Cherished brother of Darlene (Wally), Rudy (Brendia), Herbie, Rob (Wendy), and Laurie (Phil). Loving uncle of Nathan (Tonia), Adam (Robyn), and Matthew (Kristen); Drew (Beth) and Natalie (Harrison); Kathryn, Michael, and Eric; Jessica (Dan) and Melissa. Proud great-uncle of Kellan, and Bennett, Declan, and Liam.

Larry often reminded us that the simpler things in life are usually the best - short visits with friends and family, all babies, any dogs, a cold root beer, a sweet treat, and watching TV. Receiving updates about all his nieces and nephews made him very happy. Larry’s sweet disposition made a lasting impression upon everyone he met. Larry truly enjoyed the fun times spent at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy Community Living, and on the family farm.

Larry’s family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff and residents at Strathmere Lodge for the incredible care that they provided to Larry throughout his time at the Lodge.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 24th, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at DENNING'S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm with the interment to follow at Cook's Cemetery.
