Obituary of Mary Louise Johnson

Mary Louise “The Flower” Johnson (nee Almas) passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on April 19, 2022 in her 80^th year. Cherished best friend and wife of Ed “The Old Hippy” Johnson.

Beloved mother to Wes, Mamie, Becky (Jason) and Karla (Nelson).

Doting “Nana” to Meghan (Gage), Issac, Tristan and Jacob.

Loving daughter to the late Albert and Kathleen Almas. Predeceased by her brother Edward Almas. She will be missed by brother Bill (Gina) Almas.

Louise will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have been loved by her.

Hippy and The Flower had nearly 59 years of marriage together, that was filled with love, laughter and many adventures.

Many times, she mentioned “even though I don’t drink, I have had a lot of fun with most that do, especially with that whiskey drinkin’ Old Hippy when there’s music at the Lambeth Legion on Saturday”.

As per Louise’s wishes, a celebration will take place at a later date.
