My mother was a woman that I will always cherish. We did not always see eye to eye but I always respected her. She did not believe in making donations to organizations on a person's behalf but felt that that day was for that person and that person alone. To celebrate and honour the life of that individual. Today I celebrate a life well lived. She stood as best she could in the face of difficult times. She loved those around her. She will never be far from my mind and will live on in my heart.
So sorry for your loss. Thea was always welcome at the Van Den Akker’s home and kept my mother laughing. She will be missed by many. Elizabeth & Desmond Lam. (Betty Van Den Akker).
