Obituary of Klara Karolina Caverhill

It is with heavy hearts the family of Klara Caverhill announce her passing at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 85. Beloved wife of John Caverhill for 32 wonderful years. Loving mother to Louis Acs. Loving stepmother to April and Robin Caverhill. Survived by her sister Mary Bothe. Cherished aunt to Elizabeth, Sue and Veronika. Klara will be missed by many great nieces, great nephews and extended family members.

Klara had a rewarding career at Strathmere Lodge for over 34 years. She loved chatting with the residents and making them feel at home. She was passionate about her vegetable gardens and loved to cook for her family and friends. Klara was a well-loved member in her community. Volunteering her time at the Fanshawe Pioneer Village, helping with the beautiful gardens. Klara and John were active members in the Vanneck Church community. 

A Celebration of Klara's life will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on July 9th, 2022 from 1:00-3:00pm. Burial has taken place at Telfer Cemetery.
