Mary was my grade 2 teacher and I was very fond of her. I remember she and her boyfriend Joe (husband to be), drove me to Woodstock to stay with Mary’s parents for the weekend that year. I also remember visiting her on Front St. when her children were small. I ran into her again at Strathmere where she volunteered in 2007. My Mom was there. Mary invited my husband and me for coffee and we had a lovely visit after so many years. She was a special lady. My condolences to her family.
