Fred was one in a million, I had a great friendship with him as one of his many dispatchers did. He would always bring me Tobermory fudge and had such a great laugh, Lost touch when we moved to Orillia until calltaking one day and it was Fred, he was making a courtesy call to the OPP asking for directions and I happened to answer the call, we talked and laughed and caught up. He was a great person and great officer. I’m sure I speak for all the old Mount Forest dispatchers, we will miss you Fred. Xox

Nancy and family,
There are too many fond memories of time together with Fred to list here, however I will cherish and remember all of them forever. He was a great friend from before we were in grade one together. A very sincere, caring and honest person with a legion of friends. Although over the years we hadn't kept in touch we hooked up last fall on a social media page and we had a great phone visit. It is times like this that I wish we lived closer however our thoughts and prayers are with you all. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Ted Carruthers

Becky and family. We were so sorry to learn the news. Fred was a big part of Michael's time up in Strathroy. He enjoyed their walks most. Michael shared so many stories of Fred and Nancy I felt like I knew all of you so well. Dinners around the table, wine tasting and stories of Fred's past will always be a big part of Michael's memories of Canada. He will be missed. Hold the memories close. - Love the Mucci Family.

Nancy and family,
We are so saddened to hear of Fred's passing. Fred played a pivotal role in my policing career as my Coach Officer when I was posted to Listowel as a 21 year old constable. I learned so much from him; not only about policing but also about life, family and FUN! He and Nancy were the catalysts in immersing me in my new life in Perth County; from inviting me to dinner, introducing me to curling, ensuring I became an active member of my new community and making Anne feel welcome into the Policing Family. My career would not have been as rich or memorable without Fred's influence and guidance. He will be missed.
