Chris you were one of a kind. I will truly miss your big smile and upbeat personality. I am so blessed, and extremely lucky to have had you enter my life. For the past 9 years, I have considered you more the just a neighbour but also a friend. Thank you for going the extra mile time and time again. You were always willing to lend a hand, and I will definitely miss seeing you working on your beautiful lawn and gardens. All of us who got to call him Uncle Chris were the lucky ones. He loved to tease and laugh with us. I worked with Chris for over 25 years at Johnson Construction (Ed & Wm.). We had a lot of good memories over the years, especially the summer that we worked in Amherstburg eating KFC Chicken all summer. I thought of Chris like a brother.

Our farm was next door to the Joris family as we grew up. Chris always had a smile and he enjoyed sports, so he was someone to share my passions with. A real nice hockey player. Over the years the only time we had a chat was at the funeral home. Condolences to his family, just a good guy.
