Koch, Paul Adam

Peacefully, surrounded by his family Paul Adam Koch passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 85. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Anne (Boekhoudt) of more than 50 years. Beloved father of Jeffery and daughter-in-law Christina. A proud Opa, who was adored by Paige and Ben. Predeceased by his parents Paul Koch Sr. and Eva Koch (Wenhardt). Born in Hungary he and his parents immigrated to Canada in 1952. They settled near Strathroy where they ran a tobacco farm for many years. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Bertie Anderton, his nieces and their families. He will be missed by his cousins Margaret Wenhardt (Late Paul Wenhardt) and Eva and Henry Jacob.

Paul was an avid sports fan and spent many afternoons and evenings cheering on his favourite teams. He enjoyed travelling with his wife and family.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on January 29, 2022 at 2pm. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or the Strathroy United Church would be appreciated by the family.
