It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Jean Waltham of Strathroy, surrounded by her loving family, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on August 21st, 2021 at the age 83. Beloved wife of the late Donald Waltham (2019). Loving mother of Brian (Denise) Waltham and Kim (John) Muylaert. Proud grandma of her two special grandsons; Matthew (Lanie) Waltham and Gregory Waltham (Maddy). Survived by her sisters Donna Lightfoot of Toronto and Joanne Vanderbeeten of Strathroy, sister-in-law Sharon Lockett, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charlie Lightfoot (1977) and Anna Mae Lightfoot (1976), her brother Keith Lightfoot (2014), brother-in-law John Vanderbeeten (1997), and baby Jeffrey Rajsic (1959).

Norma was involved in the Strathroy United Church, she served on several committees; communion, outreach, worship, and music and the UCW. Norma also volunteered at the food bank and Salvation Army for 20 years and supported the Lion’s Club over the years when Don was involved.

The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Perkin, Dr. Gomes, Dr. Soliman, and Dr. Buma as well as the many nurses at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital in Palliative and the ICU for all of their kindness and care to Norma.
