My condolences to Donny’s family. I worked with Donny at Columbia Sportswear for several years. Donny was always a proud man and loved his family and work family. His generosity for those less fortunate in life was always notice more so during the Christmas time. My greatest memories of Donny was his subtle ways of ‘a teachable moment’ endless supply of Campino candies and my saddest moment was his retirement from Columbia.He loved his work family and we loved him. Donny will be missed. Tammy J

I am very saddened to hear of Donny passing. I remember the conversations we used to have as he would hand me a Werther's candy from his pocket all the while pushing his cart of course. His life stories always intrigued me. What I remember most about Donny is his generosity. Every Christmas when he would walk up the front sidewalk to Columbia with bags and bags of Christmas gifts to support the families in need in the Strathroy community. Just when you thought he was done unloading his car he came back with more. He tried so hard to be quick about it so no one would see him and it always made me smile. He never ever wanted to take credit for doing such an amazing thing for these families and as he would leave he would look at Tracey and I and say "not a word you two" but we always told on him! Such a kind and generous man. He will be missed. My condolences to Donny's family and friends.

I am so sad to hear about Donny. I have missed the chat's we used to have in the break room at Columbia. He always brought me Werthers and had a story to tell with a smile. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I am saddened to hear of Donny passing. I worked with him for many, many years at Columbia and we would meet for coffee and a catch up once he retired. He will be missed. It's nice to hear he is going home to be layed to rest. RIP Donny. Debbie Campbell
