Danny and Alex, Jeanette was one of the bravest and strongest people I've ever met, and I know that she fought so hard and for so long because she had your support every step of the way. Witnessing the impact of someone like Jeanette makes you appreciate the life in her days even if the days in her life were fewer than what we'd wish for; she was special beyond measure, and I am so lucky to have called her my cousin. I hope that in the days ahead you are able to take solace in the love that she surrounded you both with and in the bonds that she formed, and know that she is with you always. My deepest sympathies to Dan, Alex and all who knew Jeanette. I've worked with Dan for 35+ years and knew Jeanette for almost as long. I've witnessed a life full of joy, albeit marred by a string of health issues. Throughout it all, Jeanette tackled all challenges with courage and dignity..........a true testament to how she lived her life. She was never alone in her battle - Dan was her strongest supporter, along with Alex, Jeanette's extended family, and large circle of friends.
This video is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. Her positivity and strength is a testament to how she lived, and a great example for those who face challenges in their own lives.
Jeanette will be sadly missed by all who had the great fortune to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.

Dear Danny and Alex,
Our hearts go out to you and Jeanette’s family. We have such fond memories of Jeanette. I remember Rich loving her cooking and always asking her to make camping spaghetti. He was never shy to ask for some of her canning in your fruit cellar. When we asked you to be godparents to Michael we knew we had chosen well as your family always set such a good example for all of us. I sure will miss our frequent conversations on recipes and new craft ideas. When Jude was born she asked that I send lots of pictures as she loved babies and new how excited I was. Dan, Alex, and Family - our deepest condolences on the passing of Jeanette. Our first meeting goes back to the same birthing class that saw Eric and Alex born days apart from one another, and the discovery that we lived on the same street in Strathroy. It was apparent then how important being a mother would be for Jeanette and what a fighter she was to make it happen. Jeanette was always a friend to me through everything over the years, whether exchanging conversation at the hockey rink or as TD colleagues, and she was the one I called to pull forgotten food out of my oven in Strathroy as I was on my way to pick up Eric at school in Windsor. Always willing to help and looking out for people. Life isn't very fair some times, and this is one of those times. Take care and hold close the good memories you have of Jeanette.
