April 28, 1929 - July 5, 2021

Henk changed his earthly address from Trillium Village to “safe in the arms of Jesus” on July 5^th, 2021. Family ushered him through the valley to the door that lead him straight into the hands of Jesus. Husband and best friend of Hendrika for 66 loving years. Cherished father to Margret Meyering, Grace (Melvin) Zietsma, John (Jackie) Meyering, Jane (Bob) Richardson, Martha (John) Kok. Beloved Opa to 15 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Henk will be missed by sister Mieny (Egbert) Jonkers and was a brother -in-law to many.

Henk enjoyed many things such as camping, boating, fishing, woodworking and playing the organ. He enjoyed most spending his time with his children and grandchildren, family was his treasure. Henk’s love for church and GOD, was his foundation for life.

Our family would like to thank all who cared for and touched Dad’s life in any way.

A visitation will take place on July 8^th, 2021 at East Christian Reformed Church. A private interment will take place at Strathroy cemetery. A Funeral Service at East Christian Reformed Church on July 9^th, 2021. As expressions of sympathy, donations to World Renew would be appreciated by the family.
