Well Lis,
where do I start?
My favorite doll, Nisa, named after you.
Listening to your mom's records. Chantilly Lace. Fighting over your cups - why did you always get the red one?... haha
Playing Atari - Centipede & Space Invaders
Pretending to be sound asleep when our moms got home from their night out so that we could just have a sleepover - sometimes it worked.
You taking me on the back of your dirt bike on the trails.
Our brief stint at being roomies.
Growing up and having families. Seeing our kids grow up. Lots of dancing and laughing and chit chats.
Failed relationships and then beautiful relationships. Enduring friendship.
45 years but feels so short...
Grateful for every moment but wishing for a million more.... you are right - life is not fair - who the hell would want to take you out of this life?
Someone somewhere must have a really high wonderful purpose for you my beautiful friend.
And being who you are - thank you for still being with me and helping me through this loss.
Love ya, my sister.

Lisa,
I will miss you most when I walk at lunch. It was our time to break from the day and connect. Our conversations took many paths and I so appreciated your kind, quiet, thoughtfulness. Your approach to each obstacle life put in your way is something I admired and will strive to emulate.
I cherish our friendship and you will forever be in my heart. I will do my best to bring a smile to someone each and every day in memory of you, my friend. Until we meet again…

Lisa was a unique, kind and thoughtful Lady. How fitting she wrote such a genuine and unique Obituary. She was always concerned about others and doing her very best. I am sure that last few years had been difficult in letting go and focusing on herself.
I hope all her wishes have already come true and she is riding the "big Harley in sky".
Lisa, I am not sure if you can read this, but I hope you can. Although you never really wanted to hear the "soft stuff", we all cared for you and recognized your quality of character and kind soul. There is another Angel in Heaven and I sure hope she is enjoying that Caesar with a pickled bean with all those she has been waiting to meet!
Your Friend Brett

To the Boylan Family I extend my most sincere condolences. I had the pleasure if meeting and working with Lisa when she was in the claims department. She was always smiling, even when I knew she didn't want to. She was very kind and an absolute pleasure to work with. I am truly deeply saddened that this world has lost such a tender person. There is a new star in the heavens now.

On behalf of everyone at Middlesex Mutual I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Lisa’s entire family. Where do I begin.....We were so blessed to have known and worked with Lisa (for some), over 20 years and others shorter but we would all agree she was an incredible co-worker and friend. She was so dedicated and loyal. I would describe her as the hardest working, caring and bravest employee. We could always count on Lisa to fill in on the fly when needed. She trained and worked in all departments over the years. Always ready to help! Lisa was recognized one year at awards time for her ongoing perfect attendance (never late and always showed up no matter how she felt). Even in her early battle with cancer she continued to work whenever it was possible. What an amazing career Lisa truly enjoyed and she spread her enjoyment and positive attitude to others around her. We will miss Lisa in so many ways but we know it is time now for her to rest.....RIP Lisa, Nancy & the Middlesex Family..

To Lisa's Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss of a lovely lady.
Spent quite a bit of time with Lisa over the years when I was a director for Middlesex Mutual. She was always bubbly and happy.
Linda also enjoyed her company at the annual Christmas lunches with all the goodies the gals and guys in the office provided.
Treasure your memories of her and hold them close to your heart where she will always remain and remember that LOVE never dies.
RIP Lisa.
Sincerely,
Edward and Linda

There have been many wonderful memories over the years. I remember her smile when Josh and Emily were born, how she loved showing us her new motorcycle,or just having beers around the campfire in Elora with family. Holiday dinners at the house, sitting around chatting and getting vegetables from her garden. Our love and memories for Lisa will live on.
Our love and deepest condolences to Todd, Josh, Emily and Sharon. We love you.

I remember hanging out with Lisa in high school in Listowel. Unfortunately lost contact with her over the years. I was in the Thrift store in Listowel this past year and thought that I recognized her... so I asked her waiting in line if she was Lisa and she said it was. She shared that she was in town visiting her mom. I’m glad I took the courage and spoke...as that would be our last conversation. Lisa was always soft spoken and a real sweetheart. Sending my love and condolences to the family during this difficult time. Cherish the memories and be there for each other. Kim Nickel ♥️

My favourite memory of Lisa is when her and my son became friends since we lived next door. Sharon and Lisa lived in the top apartment with a balcony…and here is my son looking up at the balcony calling Lisa to come out. It was so precious … the two of them were chatting back and forth and finally she came out so could play together. Reminded me so like Romeo and Juliet. Sending heart felt sympathies to Sharon, Josh Emily,Todd and Isaac . Keeping you all in my prayers through this time.

I'm heart broken to hear about Lisa! I worked with Lisa back in my MMIC days. We always enjoyed the up beat music in the back corner of the office. Lisa and I had this big project for work and this gave us alot of one on one time together. We had alot of good times together that I will always cherish! Shopping, lunch dates, hot tubbing at her house with co workers, playing music in the office to upset the Agents, the list is endless! She was always so proud of her family and always a hard working woman. ❤️ I'm so thankful I got to spend alot of years with her. Sending my love and support to her family during this difficult time.
