What a wonderful lady Dorothy was. Such a wonderful smile. I remember getting eggs all the time, sometimes I would go with her to get them and help her wash them. I even remember asking if I could help her with her laundry because she had the washer that you squeeze the water out off.
My parents would play cards with JD and Dorothy and I would stay overnight and bake with her in the morning. They always let me play with the yellow clackers (pretty noisy) and she had one of those toy birds that would bob up and down in a glass of water above the sink. They were very sweet to me! My condolences to the Howe and Fisher families.
