Obituary of Ross Dixon

Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Ross Leroy Dixon of Strathroy in his 75th year. Beloved husband and soul mate of the late Joan Dixon (1989). Dear friend and companion of Marion Moore. Loving father of Brian Dixon and Karen and Dave Healey, grandfather of Blake Bedard and Alicia and Matthew Dixon and step-grandfather of Shauna Sitter. Brother of Mildred Laye and Bruce Dixon of Ailsa Craig and brother-in-law of Glen and Barb (2006) Stoner. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Bert (1971). Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Thursday, April 16 from 7-9 PM and Friday April 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 1 PM with Rev. Reg Babbey officiating. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery. A Masonic memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 17 at 6:30 PM under the direction of #289 Doric Lodge Lobo. Donations to the Poplar Hill Lions Club or Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
