Dianne and Lyle we were saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved Mother, Anna.
We enjoyed our time together, both at the card party and at Saturday evening Mass.

Dianne, and Lyle my deepest sympathies. Mrs. Hemsted was my grade six teacher, always had great respect for her. I admire her for being a good teacher. Lyle you were 3 grades ahead of me. I remember Dianne and your Dad. Very nice Family.

My deepest sympathies to you Dianne and Lyle. Your Mom and my Mom were such great friends and had many laughs together, while teaching at Our Lady Immaculate and during their retirement. I remember Anna as a powerhouse despite her petite stature! May she rest in peace and my your happy memories help to ease the loss you feel at this time.

My deepest sympathies to Dianne and Lyle... Your Mom and I taught together at OLI for 9 years as a young teacher and she was like my mother away from home, but more so even a mentor, with experience and support , as well as great to work together with. So glad the I got to have a wonderful conversation by phone only a couple of weeks ago. I am sure she was thankful that both of you were close by during these restrictive times. Mrs. Hemsted was one of my most favorite teachers while I was a student at O.L.I.
She was an amazing teacher and I had so much respect for her.
I would also have a chat once in a while when she would attend mass at All Saints Parish here in Strathroy.
May you rest in peace Mrs. Hemsted; I will never forget you and my fond memories during my elementary school years.
