Peacefully passed on March 27^th, 2021 entering into the arms of her Lord and Saviour at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, at the age 96. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Veenstra (1986) and Frans Vriesema (2019). Loving mother of Louis (Sandy) Veenstra, Gertie (Jack) Gerrits, Fred (Donna) Veenstra, the late John Veenstra (1971), Liz (Al) McLean, Arnold (Sharon) Veenstra, and Sylvia (Len) Hazenberg. Cherished grandma of 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Wilma will be sadly missed by the Vriesema family; Fred, John (Joanne), Evelyn (Dave), Bob (Rita), and Richard (Kelly), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Tim Bosma (2013) and Zack MacLean (2015).

Survived by Margaret (late Frank) Vanderheide, Ann (Elco) Wiersma, (late Arnold) Gertie De Vries, Charlie (Jennie) De Vries, Alice (Fred) Postma, Christine (late Bill) Kloostra, (late Harry) Joanne De Vries, and Janet (John) Fischer. Predeceased by Elsie (Frans) Vriesema.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate and excellent care of Mom this past week.

Visitation will take place at Strathroy East Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy, on Tuesday, March 30^th, 2021. A private funeral service will be held on March 31^st, 2021. Interment to follow at Clinton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made World Renew, Woodland Christian High, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
