Phine and the whole family in Victoria sending you all our deepest condolences. Tante Katje was a very sweet lady and will be missed. We are all so fortunate to have her for so long.
Mom (Phine) remembered when her and Katje were young girls going to choir practice. They had so much fun! Katje was soprano and Mom was alto. Oma loved listening to them practice.

Some where in the family is a photo of all the immigrant generation at a party. The Aunts in their party dresses and the Uncles with their shirt sleeves rolled up and cigarettes in their hands. Such luxury for those times. Now they can party again as the entire Ontario delegation of the Thuss Family are together once more. Have fun! We will miss you Tante Kaatje but we know you are in the best of all places.

To all the Vens family...What a sweet lady she always was. We lived on the same street for a number of years and we would meet the two of them on our walks. Could never get away without a big hug from your mom and dad.
