Obituary of Jacqueline Ann LeBlanc

Jacqueline LeBlanc (nee Parsons)

Mom was a quiet soul; she did not ever want to be the centre of attention but whether she likes it or not, she really did make a huge difference in many people’s lives and that deserves some attention. Mom was a proud and dedicated Legion member. She spent years volunteering as driver for Meals on Wheels and the Cancer Clinic. Mom selflessly offered her financial, tax, taxi, quilting and ‘just there for a friend’ skills to anyone in need. We will never truly know the extent of all her kindness or all the lives she touched. What we do know, is how she influenced our lives and made us who we are, for the better. We will be forever grateful for that gentle kindness that helped guide us all these years. Mom never judged anyone, not even her bratty kids and all our bratty friends. Occasionally, we would encounter her hot-tempered redhead side but usually she let us be kids, make our mistakes and help us embrace our hard-earned lessons. Mom always prioritized our well-being and supported us on our journey through life. Hopefully as we follow her example, we can be half as strong, kind and selfless as she was. We have never been more proud to say that Jackie LeBlanc is our mom and our greatest inspiration. Rest in peace Mom, you’ve more than earned it. Forever in our hearts, Liza and Lee-Anne.

Passed away at home on January 2nd, 2021 at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was the devoted wife of the late Martin LeBlanc (1975). Loving mother of Liza LeBlanc-Timmers (Roger), Lee-Anne LeBlanc (Shawn) and the late Kevin LeBlanc (2020). Survived by her adored grandchildren Jeremy Timmers and Kali Zwambag (Matt). Predeceased by granddaughter Tasha Timmers (1983). Special great-grandma to Lexi and Cooper Zwambag.
