My deepest condolences to Wilkie's family, your loss is profound and nothing said can diminish the hurt you all must be dealing with. My prayer is that your pain will ease as you cherish all the memories of Wilkie. Wilkie and i were close friends in our youth. We lived in the same condo complex on Dundalk and we spent many days running around the place doing what boys do, having fun, playing army, riding bikes and getting into things. I suppose the long hair is a testament to the hate of barber shops. I remember the poor guy getting sat down on a kitchen chair outside the front door and his dad cutting his hair during the summers. His was also the first house that i was introduced to the 80s special...plastic covered couches lol. And if Wilkie's mom ever caught us sitting in there it was gonna be a bad day lol, Honestly a wonderful family. As we got into Junior high and high school we sort of drifted apart and into different groups of people, but Wilkie was always a smiley kinda guy who was genuine to me. I regret not getting back in touch as my military career took me out of the GTA and around the country. The photos here in the memorial video demonstrate a rich life lived with love for family. I will remember him with fond memories and pray for all his family.

I was lucky enough to work with Wilkie at Meridian where he was known fondly, and was lucky enough to most recently be his landlord. He will be dearly missed at both Meridian and at his apartment building where all his neighbors had very fond memories of him.
Wilkie will be missed. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Wilkie, I can't believe you're gone. You always made me laugh and you had such a beautiful smile. I always looked forward to seeing you at fam jam. Now who will talk to me about the old days from Scarborough? RIP with Sage, I'm sure she was waiting for her daddy, but didn't think it would be this soon. Glad we spent time at Thanksgiving together and at the trailer last summer.

Wilkie will always have a special place in my heart. To Brandon and Nick, I'm truly sorry for your loss. Your father was a beautiful human being and he will be missed dearly by my family. He brought so much light and laughter into our lives. He helped me and my mother through the darkest part of our lives and he helped me settle into a new adventure in London. To me, he was a beautiful soul and he was genuine. I will miss him. Rest in peace, Wilkie. Thank you for everything ❤
