Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge with family by his side on Friday, August 28^th, 2020 Leonard Cornelius Timmermans of Strathroy passed away at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Antonella “Toni” Timmermans (Nee Aarts) (2017). Dear father of John (Ruth), Cory (2013), Martin (1959), Leonard (1969), Marianne (Norm), Baasje, Willy (Anne Louise), Patrick (Barb). Cherished Opa and Grandpa of Jessica, Matthew, Andre (Roxanne), Melissa (Andre), Jenny (Andre), Lee, Ian, April (Jacob), Chad (Melissa), Drew (Kaitlyn), Colin, and Laura. Great-grandfather of 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by John, Betsy, Maria, Hubert, and Bernadette. Predeceased by his siblings Nelly and Peter, brothers-in-law John, Tony, Adrian and Paul, sisters-in-law Gertrude and Helen. Leonard will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family in Holland and friends. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Church, Strathroy.
