Obituary of Adrianus Joseph Timmers

“The Lord is my Shephard; I shall not want…” On Sunday, February 2nd, 2020, Adrianus Joseph “Andy” Timmers went home to be with his Lord in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Catharina Timmers (née Vandenbroek). Proud father of John (Elsie), Martin (Mary), the late Wilma (Randy), Mary (Bill), Marjorie (Doug), Paul, Joanne (Ed), Teresa (Henry) and Frances (Roger). Cherished Opa of 27 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Dina (the late Nol), Mary (Pete), Frances (the late Harry), Antonia (the late John), John (Ann) and Andy (the late Helen). Also survived by his sisters-in-law Rita Timmers and Marie Timmers. Andy will be missed by his many extended Vandenbroek brothers and sisters-in law and friends. Predeceased by his granddaughter Janet, great grandson Justin and siblings Gonda (the late Carl), Bill and Tony. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Friday, February 7th, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery.
