At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Manuel Correia of Strathroy in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Rosa Correia (2001). Dear father of Laura and Joe Martins, Joe and Isabel Soares, Albert and Teresa Soares (Soares Auto Body) and Giselia Soares. Loving grandfather of Grace Arruda, Cidalia Fernades, Euzita Arruda, Armando Soares, Joe Soares, Carlos Soares, Jessie Hue, Dennis Soares and Suzete Jones; great-grandfather of Sabrina Arruda Giles, Mark Arruda, Kristyn Arruda, Erica Almeida, Bobby Almeida, Michelle Almeida, Kyle Arruda, Tylor Arruda, Amanda Soares, Shawn Soares, Christopher Soares, Jacob Soares, Michael Soares, Julia Hue, Isaac Soares, Zachary Soares, Samuel Soares, Elijah Soares and Avery Jones and great-great-grandfather of Valerie Arruda, Aiden Giles, Gavin Giles, Joshua Girarden and Mikayla Vermeiren. Visitation will be at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, April 5 from 5-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Tuesday, April 6 at 11 am with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the Portuguese Canadian Club. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
