Obituary of Ann Ende

Psalm 89:1 "My song forever shall record the tender mercies of the Lord. Thy faithfulness will I proclaim and every age shall know thy name." On April 15, 2010, Ann (Antje) Vanden Ende-Hoeksema died peacefully in Strathroy Hospital surrounded by her husband Anthonie and loved ones. Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years of happy marriage and her 6 children; Tony of Cambridge, ON, Jack (Cheryl) of Cary, N.C., Arja (Gerry) Pot of Keswick Ridge, N.B., Henk (Janet) of Sarnia, ON, John (Betty) of Huntsville, ON and Tim (Charlene) of Wainfleet, ON., 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters in Holland. Ann has been a faithful and loving member of Westmount CRC for 26 years. She was very involved together with her husband in ministry, serving in women's societies, girls club work and especially in Friendship Bible Class that she started in 1982 in Westmount CRC as service to the mentally challenged; besides being a great friend of and for many. Her memorial service will take place on Monday, April 19, 2010 in the Westmount CRC, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Westmount CRC. A private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, ON. Donations to the Strathroy Community Christian School would be appreciated.
