Obituary of Warner Koiter

Peacefully, in his sleep, at Strathroy Hospital, Warner Koiter went to be with his Saviour in his 74th year; born on March 18, 1937 in Pieterburen, The Netherlands. Loving husband of Marenie Koiter(nee Hamming) for 45 years. Sadly missed by children Annette(Chad) Chapman, Marie (Mark) Alward and Nick (Jo-Anne) Koiter. Dear grandpa to nine grandchildren. Forever in the hearts of his sisters Marianne (Henk) De Haan, Jane Lenting and Fina (Rense) Linker and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Niekolaas and Maria Anna Koiter (nee Broekhuizen), brother-in-law Harry Lenting and nephew Clarence Lenting. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, May 2nd from 6-9 pm at Denning Bros.Funeral Home, Strathroy and on Monday, May 3rd from 12:30 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 which will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 301 Pannell Lane, Strathroy, with Reverend Robert Esson officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Aboriginal Pentecostal Ministries or the Strathrmere Lodge Auxilary.
