Obituary of Della Molitor

On Friday, May 7, 2010 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, with her husband and daughters by her bedside, Della "Betty" Elizabeth Molitor (nee Raymond) passed peacefully to be with Jesus. Born in Windsor Ontario, Betty attended school in London and resided in Strathroy throughout her married life. Dearly loved wife of Ambrose Grey (Andy) and loving, wonderful mother to Cathy Molitor, Jane Peirce and Patty (Jack) Parker. Special grandmother to Tracy, Sarah (Hans), Nathan (Aleks) and Nikki. Adored great grandmother to Nafeasa, Ava, Tyrel, Tariq and Nashiah (and two baby boys on the way). Betty was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews and their families. Sister of Joe (Audrey) Raymond of Saskatchewan and sister in law of Joyce Grenier of Thunder Bay. Betty was a tireless volunteer for her church, a pre-school teacher who adored her students and welcomed all children with open arms. Betty gave herself freely and as a result all who knew her were enriched by her helping friendship. Betty loved life, people and her large family. Friends will be received on Monday, May 10th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Denning Bros Funeral Home, Strathroy where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, May 11th at 1:00 pm with Dr. Brian McKenzie officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Society, VON Day Program or a charity of your choice.
