Obituary of Sarah Fairbairn

Fairbairn, Sarah Louise- With her family by her side at Victoria Hospital on Friday, September 10, 2010 at age 15. After undergoing 16 hard months of bone marrow transplants, chemotheraphy, countless scans and blood transfusions, she lay at rest peacefully. Mother and father Yolanda and Jerry. Sisters Nicole and Larissa, with nephew Dawson. Grandparents Don and Muriel Fairbairn, Jane Verheyen and late Louis. Aunt and uncle, Cathey and Jerry, cousins Matthew and Laurel Schmanda. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday for her family. The Fairbairns gratefully acknowledge the compassionate and dedicated staff at the Children's Hospital in London, Sick Kids in Toronto, Childcan, The Canadian Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House in Toronto, as well as many other organizations for all the effort made to keep the family comfortable. Donations may be made to Childcan or the Canadian Cancer Society. The joys that she missed on life's highway may she find in God's garden of rest.
