Obituary of Jean Moore

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on Saturday, January 1, 2011, Jean Marion Eileen Moore (McLean) in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late George Moore (1984). Loving mother of Jim Moore (Vivian) of Strathroy and June Ball (John) of Grand Bend. Cherished grandmother of Evelyn D'Oria (Nick), Russel Moore (Catherine), Susan Vilicic (Ivan), Michael Ball (Krisanne) and Andrew Ball (Lisa). Great-grandmother of Paul and Robert D'Oria, Sarah and Emily Moore, Luka and Neva Vilicic, Oliver and Leah Ball, Maddie and Lily Ball. Dear sister of Alma Locke, Bruce McLean (Fran) and Betty Black. Predeceased by her parents John and Edna McLean as well as her brothers Roy and Ronald McLean. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, Strathroy, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Jean, donations may be made to the Strathroy United Church Women (UCW), Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
