Obituary of Maria Furtado

Peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Maria Jose Furtado (nee Cordeiro) at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Luis Furtado (2010). Loving mother of Natalia Cipriano (Joao), Mary-Jo Garcia (Fernando ) and Margaret Silva (Leonildo). Loving grandmother of Priscilla Cipriano (Paulo Oliveira), Calvin Cipriano (Nati), Gary Garcia, Vanessa Garcia (Chris Pereira), and Derek Silva (Kathleen Rebic). Great-grandmother of Alexandra Cipriano and Kian Rebic-Silva. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 5th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, January 6th at 12:30 pm with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
