Obituary of Marion Elizabeth Carruthers

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Marion Elizabeth Carruthers (nee Somerville) in her 100^th year. Beloved wife of the late Morris E. Carruthers (1979). Cherished mother of Ross (Sandi) of Edmonton, Keith (Margaret) of London, Ron (Stephanie) of London and Elizabeth (Sheridan) of Arva. Fondly remembered by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters Jean Parsons (Ian), Kathleen McDiarmid (Archie), Ruth Serman (Tom), and brother Donald Somerville (Gertrude).

Friends and family will be received at DENNING'S OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe St W, Strathroy on Thursday October 31^st, 2019 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Visitation will continue the next day at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made to Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary, Strathroy United Church or a charity of one’s choice.
