Obituary of Sonya Willmott

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Sonya Elizabeth Willmott on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the age of 73. Dear sister of Robert and Karen Willmott of Parkhill. Beloved aunt of Jeffrey of Thunder Bay, Christopher (Annette Buchner) of London and Joseph and Lindsay of Guelph. Wonderful great aunt of Benjamin and Ella of Guelph. Predeceased by her parents Dr. G.W. Willmott and Elva (Demaray ). Sonya will be greatly missed by her aunt Wynn Demaray and her many cousins. Sonya was a very energetic, fun loving lady, beloved by all. She had many friends who will miss her greatly. Sonya was a retired elementary teacher and member of Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter ETA. Sonya was very actively involved in the community. Friends may visit at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, Strathroy on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held in the Strathroy United Church, 92 Maria St @ Front St., Strathroy on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michelle Down officiating. Cremation. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation greatly acknowledged.
