Obituary of Mickey Prohaszka

Peacefully with his family by his side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, February 7, 2011, Mickey Alan Prohaszka passed away in his 59th year. Mickey leaves behind the love of his life Janice (Murray) of Strathroy. Loving father of Chad Prohaszka and dearly remembered by Chad's mother Nancy, both of London. He is also remembered by Janice's children Laura Kettlewell of Toronto, Murray Kettlewell and Carolyn Kettlewell both of Strathroy. Dear brother of Mary Townley of Ilderton, Dan Prohaszka (Barb) of Strathroy, Tom Prohaszka (Maria) of London, Tim Prohaszka (Debbie) of Ilderton and Cathy Cassidy (Curt) of Southampton. Dear son-in-law to Kay Murray and Al Gough, and brother-in-law to Alan and Nancy Murray. Mickey will be missed by his uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his treasured cat Wiley. Predeceased by parents Peter and Betty Prohaszka and brother-in-law Ron Townley. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Mickey's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 116, 266 Metcalfe St. W Strathroy on Monday, February 21, 2011 starting at 2 p.m (open house). Special thank you to all the nurses and staff on 1 South and ICU at Strathroy Hospital, Dr. Wolder and Dr. Sanders for all their compassionate care for Mickey. A special thanks to Rick and Sandy Heinbuck for always being there. Gratitude is extended to our family, friends and neighbours for all their support.
