It is with a heavy heart that I found this posting of Mr. Cook. He was by far one of my favorite teachers at Westminster Secondary. I would often finish my class projects ahead of time and then we would chat on other topics related to computers, cars, technology, news, etc during my free time, which sparked my intellectual curiosity. He was very knowledgeable and he had inspired me in the fields of technology and science. I went on to pursue an engineering degree. Even to this day when I perform engineering at work, or when I designed my home I used the skills that Mr. Cook had taught me. I kept in touch with Mr. Cook after moving to the US but eventually lost contact and have tried to reach out to him over the years to let him know how much of a lasting impact he has had. I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

As a teacher at Westminster, I knew Jack from 2000 til he retired. He was a positive, humorous and kind hearted man. He was supportive of my computer courses and helped my robotics teams with tech design. In exchange, I helped him with his computers and lab. So sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.

I was a student in Jack Cook's tech class at Westminster Secondary (2005-08). He was one of my favourite teachers there and he had such a great sense of humour and a great taste in music as well. He also helped me on many projects that has better suit my love for technology. This year has been a rough one for myself as my dad passed away two months ago and other members of my family as well as my former/current colleagues have had their loved ones pass away just recently. My sincere condolences to Jack Cook's family and friends. RIP

This photo taken in August 2014, when I had the pleasure of meeting Jack while visiting with Henry Suzie and Adriana in Brantford. Jack was a fun, loving, beautiful individual....like his siblings. Tom and I will remember our fun afternoon together. Our hearts are with you during this difficult time. Hugs to all. Diane

Jack: Many of my earliest memories revolved around you. We were separated by miles and by years, but you never let that stop you from being a big part in my life. I remember Brantford, in a convertible, Guelph, in a convertible, Sauble, in a convertible, Mosport in a convertible ... I learned from you how to appreciate some of the simpler moments in life. I miss you brother.

Dad, your generosity will be your legacy. Through your actions you've shown us what dedication and loyalty means. You always put the needs of others before your own, maybe to a fault... what are we going to do without you? I miss you so much! Love you and wish you were here, forever your Jenny xo.
