What a wonderful honour it was to see Tante Stine at Uncle James and Aunt Lynn's 5oth wedding anniversary party recently. It was such a special gift to see her again. I my childhood she was always smiling and had such a happy outlook on everything. I remember fondly visiting her when I was about 10 and having lunch at her house. She always made sure we had enough cookies. I share her love of knitting which my Oma (Catherine Vallentin Hendricks-sister in law) taught me when I was 9. Family is such a blessing. My children, Devon 23 and Shannon 14 always ask about their family and attend special occasions whenever possible. Anyone who has had the love and joy of an Oma is very lucky. Prayers to the family. Rose Pike and family.
