Obituary of Joana Guilhermina Alves

It is with heavy hearts the family of Joana Alves announces her passing at the age of 96. Cherished wife of the late Guilherme Alves. Loving mother to Gabriela (Henry) Pereira, Cidalia (Indalecio) Oliveira. Proud Vovo to Marlene Da Silva, Sandy Tapp, Brian Oliveria, Brenda Camara, Nelson Pereira. Will be missed by 10 great-grandchildren.

Joana was an avid traveller, always dancing and very positive. She had a love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always had a bright smile on her face. She was loved by so many.

Friends and family will be received at Denning’s of Strathroy on May 22^nd  from 5-9pm. Prayers will take place at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Thursday May 23^rd at 11:00am. Interment to follow.
