Peacefully passed away on May 11^th, 2019 in her 88^thyear in Strathroy. Beloved wife of the late Victor Soetemans (2017). 

Loving mother of Louis (Margie), Sue (Jim) Boere, John (Vicki), Dave (Riekie) and Glenn (Dianne).  Dear grandma of Justin (Alyssa), Brandon (Angela), Krystin (Donny), David (Gill), Jaclyn (Steve), Michelle (Dennis), Brad (Christine), Natasha, Vanessa (Cody), Devan (Tiffany), Marcie, Monique, Nicole (Adrian), Kevin, Ryan and Luke. Great grandma to Owen, Carson, Myles, Declan, Brodie, Bentley, Levi, Auston, Hayden, Alister, and Matthew. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Ann Straatman, Johanna Straatman, Nellie (Bill) Vandenburgt, Harry (Ellie) Straatman, Tony (Rita) Straatman, Lina Straatman, and Elsie (Alfons) Couwenberg, Steve (Adriana) Soetemans, Joe (Joanne) Soetemans, Stephanie (John) Hendrickx, Mary (George) Hendrickx, Margaret (Lloyd) Hendrickx. Predeceased by her brothers Gerry Straatman, Herman Straatman, Leo Straatman, sister Mary (and Matthew) Hogervorst, and great-grandson Bentley Vandenbussche. Friends and family will be received on Monday, May 13^th, 2019 from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 14^that 10:00a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, Strathroy.
