Haydn and I were saddened to hear of Rosa's passing. Our sympathies are extended to her family at this time of loss. Fond memories will be yours to cherish as she was such a lovely lady.
Ken, I am so saddened to hear of the passing of your mom. I know how hard it is to lose someone who has shaped your life and know that it is a most difficult time. Although I never met your mom I sense that she was a constant figure in your life and much of who you are was passed on from her. I know you put her first and foremost which speaks to the essence of who she was. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Do any of you remember the grey fleece pajama one-piece, complete with sewn on adornments, Rosa gave me for Christmas one year? That is one of the first things that came to mind when my Dad called tonight to tell me of her passing. I think because it symbolized so well who she was to me: warm, funny, sometimes a little eccentric, and someone who could always make me smile. She will be missed dearly and remembered fondly.
