Many have read pieces of the wonderful journey that Anna travelled. I have been fortunate to have experienced first hand her passion for preservation of local history and the learning the rest of the story that she helped so many with . I was very appreciative of her assistance when I compiled one of my family books. My sincere sympathies to the Pelkman Families and will join you in spirit on her day of celebration, as I will be out of the country.

One of my fondest memories of Anne is from many years ago when I went with Kim and her mother to the Pelkman home to learn how to make chocolates. Anne had all the equipment and supplies, as well as the know how to teach us. It was such a fun afternoon! Kim and I were so inspired that we then purchased our own candy molds to continue the chocolate making tradition. To Ken and Kim and family I send my deepest sympathies at the loss of such a grand lady.

I have fond memories of Anne from my time living at Twin Elm. She was especially kind when My late Husband Marty passed. She gave me sage advice at a very difficult time -- I wish I could remember the actual words, I just know that after speaking with her I felt lighter. Family just know that Anne is still watching over you and has no more pain. Grief is normal, but so is smiling. Choose a good memory of Anne and smile -- she would like that.

Anne was such a fixture in Strathroy United and in Seasons. I have fond memories of visiting with her when my Mom was at Seasons. I also miss her face looking down from the choir loft at church.
