Obituary of Donald McKenzie

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Donald R. McKenzie, formerly of Adelaide Twp., in his 87th year. Dear brother of Lillian McKenzie of London. Predeceased by his parents Angus and Annie (McKellar) McKenzie and sister Margaret McKenzie (2005) and a brother John McKenzie (2010). Dear uncle of Brian and Barbara McKenzie, Leslie and Jeanette McKenzie and Gayle and Norman Frisa also survived by many great nieces and great nephews and great great grand nieces and a great great grand nephew. Donald was an elder of West Adelaide Church and a lifelong farmer. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY ONT., on Friday September 23, 2011 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm where funeral service will take place on Saturday September 24, 2011 at 1:00pm with Rev. Larry Amiro officiating. Interment to follow, Arkona Cemetery. Donations in memory of Donald to West Adelaide Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Donald.
