Obituary of Ruth McCallum

Peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, Ruth McCallum (Clemance) in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Stuart and their daughter Dorothy, a twin to Ruth (Palmer). Left to carry on are their children, spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Robert (Adele), David (Rosemary), Ruth (Joe Palmer), Margaret (Rusty Bittermann), Marilyn (John Smithers), Carol (Dale Northey); grandchildren, Wayne, Ross (Catherine), Karen (Curtis), Craig, Mark, Donald (Jennifer), Janice (John), Emma, Rebecca, Michael and Shane; great-grandchildren: Avery, Connor, Jillian, Max, James, Victoria and Christian. In honouring Ruth's wishes, her body has been donated to the Department of Anatomy, U.W.O. Visitation will be held at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 1p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, 13 mile Road @ Denfield Road, Middlesex Centre, with Father Daniel Bowyer and Rev. David Friesen-Waldner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Thomas Special Olympics or the Cambridge Association for Community Living LINKS program.
