Obituary of Gerard Houle

Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home, Ailsa Craig on Saturday, May 19, 2012, Gerard Joseph Houle formerly of Chatham and London, passed in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Dora (Gagnier) (1995). Loving father of Yvonne Houle of London, Ron Houle (Judy) of Amhurstburg, Carolyn Rodak (Ed) of Denfield, Larry Houle of London and Kevin Houle (Jennifer) of Lasalle. Cherished grandfather of 7 grandsons and great-grandfather of 8. Predeceased by his daughter Laurie Moore 2001 (Brent). Dear brother of Maurice and Roger. Predeceased by his sisters Edmondine, Gertrude and Theresa. Gerard will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. when the Mass of Christian Burial will begin with Father Daniel Bombardier officiating. Interment to follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. In memory of Gerard, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society. Arrangements entrusted to the T.
